Calesa, a nice remembrance of once a noble means of transportation for Filipnos. Ahh, Escolta won't be complete without the half-galloping kabayos along the busy sections of Escolta - where I found my first job and met my partner-in-life. Escolta is no longer the same, but the memories are joys to remember for many, including me.

calesa -- brings back mem'ries. wish we can have that kind of transportation these days. would probably help pulling down the oil and gas prices. hmm...? oh, btw, nice photo feature. something to click and comment on. thnx.

More than words. Surely my heart is broken.

Kwentong Kutsero

Magkano ba ang sumakay ng calesa ngayon? I'll be going home with my family soon and I want to take my kids for a ride in one of them.

Karen

I miss the calesas of Manila. Growing up in Binondo, we would see them everywhere and ride them all the time.

Oil Slick

With a the price of oil today, these hardy contraptions might see a comeback in Pinas. Walang gaanong pollution basta may pang salo sa likod ng kabayo.

Mario

Pang turista nalang ang mga calesa ngayon. Ang mahal pa ng singil ng mga kutsero, Kung kaya mga dayuhan lang ang kayang sumakay.
