GLORIA ARROYO. Isn't it ironic that the person who sold the PHL down the river to the Chinese is still unscathed & has been trying to generate all sorts of sympathy from gullible Filipinos, one of whom is Joseph Estrada? Has she even been confronted with her Treason? And here we are suggesting that Filipinos living abroad try to bail the PHL out? After seeing one greedy politician after another ransack the Treasury of the country, & getting away with it maybe it's just as well that the country gets occupied by a foreign power. At any rate who would want to fight for a country that coddles its crooks instead of hanging them?

China has one weakness folks. This is their main weakness before and still their weakness now... Food supply. They have less resources for their ridiculous population. So if we can boycott their goods and isolate their country from food resources...

That's right. The proverbial "Juan Tamad" will no longer exist. The tree from where he was waiting for the fruit to drop has died. Now only the proverbial "Basang Sisiw" will be in existence for the foreseeable future. The Editorial in effect has pointed out that the PHL has no one to depend on. Not the USA, not its politicians, not its army, not any so-called friends. So the suggestion is to mobilize the Filipinos abroad to do what they can for their native country. But Filipinos like me think that as bad as the Chinese problem is there is a worse problem, which is the most pressing of all - CORRUPTION. This is something Filipinos in the PHL can do something about. If they don't why even think of China?

Bad advice, again. Whoever writes these editorials is bogged down in an old school system, has bad memories, and acutely short-sighted. Historically speaking, past and present government officials, including the president, are not able to measure up to an Israeli or Spartan of similar status. Filipinos are poor in their exercise of conviction and persuasive abilities. Those living and/or working abroad, most of whom have dual or other loyalty and, therefore, politically lukewarm cannot be counted as major players in this problem with China. Give it up, please. Anyway you look at the situation, aside from serious shove from your Uncle, China remains an unstoppable bully.

JRH: Boxing is combat sports where strength, endurance , speed and reflexes count. Pacquiao fought Mayweather half the strength and power.to deliver a Knockout to win. The world knows that. We expected too much from Manny. Pacquiao won't win that way. Floyd was the smarter fighter. We are all suckers.

SORRY PACQUAIO! You're now a LOSER! PLEASE, don't use your fame, glory and popularity to fool millions of fellow Filipinos to advance your future political career.... We know what you're doing....... you're just using the WORDS of GOD and you're POPULARITY in boxing to boost your winning chances in 2016 senatorial election and eventually your BIG plan to run for the highest position of the land, AS PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHUILIPPINES. So pathetic and so worrisome for millions of unfortunate Filipinos. Please, just retire from boxing and live a happy life with your family. You don't have the quality of a genuine and true leader! HYPOCRITE!

Manny Pacquiao, since you think you can do everything else aside from Boxing without addressing your performance and grade, then I suggest that you do it to your own detriment. I can't wait to see how you make a fool out of yourself. But there's something I am practically pleading to you that you SHOULD NOT do, and that is to run for President. There's so much at stake that could go wrong with your damn ignorance and very inflated ego. You can't even truthfully fill up documents prior to your fight lest manage your career without relying on Arum, then you run for President? That will be the day I will be ashamed of myself as a fellow countryman.

Congressman Ronaldo Zamora expressed concern about whether or not some of his colleagues understand what they were voting for about the BBL. One of his concerns was Rep. Manny Pacquiao of Sarangani. Zamora wondered if Pacquiao understands the opt-in of the BBL. Well, Mr. Zamora, ito nga ang problema. To the voters in general it does not really matter whether the people they vote for are even literate, let alone qualified. Basta SIKAT, iboboto yan! So it's really a waste of time asking what Pacquiao & other Sikats like him understand. After all these ignorant voters are used to poverty. Why change now?

The class action suit filed against Pacquiao will not prosper for lack of merit. Manny fought valiantly and gallantly in spite of his shoulder injury. It would not be seen that the fight was staged and those who paid the tickets to view the fight were scammed. If there is one person who should be sued, it should be his promoter and trainers.

An interesting question was raised in the PHL Congress the other day. Did Pacquiao understand the provisions of the BBL? To the man raising the question I say, Don't sweat it. You ain't seen nothin' yet. Wait till Pacquiao becomes President of the Republic. And Filipinos will UNDERSTAND what they did to themselves.

Pag ang tao ay greedy sa pera at kumapit sa matalim dahil sa kahirapan ay gagawin lahat para lang makahawak na pera. Pero ang pera ay dumadating at mabilis mawawala. Very religious pa naman! Tumahimik na lang sa na para wala na gulo. The problem could not accept the fact he lost and his daughter even made a comment that she did not care for Mayweather. Everyone have said the truth in this comment forum. Is a lesson learned that you cannot play dirty with people who paid with lots of money and traveled far to see the fight. Mawawala din yon kanyang pinaghirapan.

Manny or Binay will never become president. Filipino voters will be stupid to elevate any of them to that position. Binay to win, needs his money unfrozen. Pacquiao has to get Kim Henares off his back and the Nevada boxing commission to absolve him of any wrong doing. I am sure all future fights of Manny would be lackluster nor a crowd pleaser. It would no longer attract a large crowd and make enough money. That would send a signal for him to retire and to seek permanent residency in California.

WOW! Pacquiao is the only Philippines tongressman owes the IRS billions of pesos. WOW! that makes him the richest or the poorest? WOW! Is he the most uneducated who is aspiring to be Philippine president? WOW! If he is elected to be senator, he would join those most uneducated senators like what senator Santiago said: That's what you get for electing actors, and now a damn boxer. You guys are funny...

If you just watched the fight of Manny and shied away from betting, you are smarter than the rest. You were not taken for a ride! You have used your head instead of your posterior. Boxing in Last Vegas is never honest and clean. Judges and referees experienced vision problems. They could be bought. Gambling odds in any sports are calculated in Vegas. Don't play dummy!

THE NERVE! Bong Revilla said he is still running for President in 2016. Ang KAPAL! This guy is as delusional as Mar Roxas about becoming President. But the caveat is that I hope the election does not come down to a choice between Revilla & Roxas. Because in that case Revila will win.

Re: Headline.."Binay eyes Duterte as running mate"..Duterte is reputed to be a no nonsense straight arrow Mayor of Davao City. The VP Binay wants him to be his running mate. Let us see if Duterte would accept considering that..Binay has a pending case in the Ombudsman, the prospective First lady has a pending case in the Sandiganbayan, this is for violation of the Antigraft & Corrupt Practices Act. The Mayor of Makati also named Binay is facing cases likewise in the Ombudsman , the Court of appeals and the Supreme Court. With Duterte's reputation as a straight arrow no nonsense do you think he would accept. Of course because he wants to be President too.

Lighter side of life-A rehash of one of Pinoy's dirtiest jokes: Nagpapalusot ang kumag. A pinoy couple is about to be married this coming Saturday. On Monday, the man went to see his fiancee. LALAKE: "Honey, patikim naman; isang-isa lang". BABAE: "Maghintay ka; huwag kang mainip, limang araw na lang. LALAKE: "O sigi pero pasalat na lang". Eh, di pinasalat. On Wednesday, the man went again to see her. LALAKE: "Honey, sigi naman O, isang-isa lang naman. BABAE: "Hindi nga maaari; maghintay ka, tatlong araw na lang". LALAKE: "O sigi, paamoy na lang". Mapilit, eh di pinaamoy. Nang matapos...LALAKE: "Naku honey!, hindi na aabot ng Sabado iyan!"

JUSTICE: The road to politics is achieved in many ways. It is money and fame. Congresswoman Lucy Torres of Leyte got her job on both money and fame. Pacquiao got his through boxing. Many times you don't seek political position. The position
simply comes to you. In short, it is offered. From there a political tree is planted. You now witnessed it with the Pacquiaos, Estradas, Revillas and the Villars to name a few.

There is an invisible bond between the Binays and the Aquinos. First, it was the mother, Corazon Aquino, who made Jejomar, mayor. They were political allies against the Marcoses. Second, Kris Aquino, the daughter of Cory flirted with Jun Jun, the current mayor of Makati. Although the constitution did not mandate the president to appoint his vice-president to any cabinet position, Pnoy did out of gratitude. Pnoy does not fire people. Like Mayweather he loves to embrace people in his administration. Purisima is a living proof. Ditto for Ochoa. However, Pnoy goes after his enemies with vengeance. Corona is an example; the three detained senators are another of those examples of raw vengeance.

Re: VP Jejomar Binay: "I have no hidden wealth"...It is easy to say those things but the accusations against the VP can't all be politically motivated.. If these allegations are not true how come there is a pending case against Mrs. Dr. Binay in the Sandiganbayan for overpricing beds at the Ospital Makati?. They can't deny Hacienda Binay because if you go to the place and ask the common tao , they will tell you there is an Hacienda Binay. The Makati BLdg II. The thing speaks for itself. It is a parking Bldg with the price of 5 star hotel.
