The Philippines has been a sad joke for 50 yewrs. Theft of monies by politicians, government employees, police, military and so on have kept the country a third world crap hole. DU30 is a madman but the bastards being killed have murdered and raped because of drug use. The majority cheer these killings. The problem is not that you folls have lost your soul, you lost that years ago. The problem is the United States, UN, EU will slap sanction against you and than the poor will suffer even more.

If Mr. Duterte and his administration really wants to safeguard the future of the next generation from drugs then he must implement legislation to curb poverty and unemployment. As of the latest SWS survey, there are over 9 million people in the Philippines without a job. As a result, this feeds to schism and discontent of the masses specially the poor who are most affected and therefore some resort to illegal means of maintaining their survival which is no less to drugs. Why don't the President and the Philippine government give these criminals and drug addicts a chance to work and then rehabilitated, or vice versa immediately! So the merciless killings can stop and Mr. Duterte is not to be branded as a human rights violator and promoter of EJK. Once these drug users have been given an opportunity to renew their ways but continue to perpetuate drug use and selling then they alone themselves are to blame for their deaths.

Re: Pres. duterte's admission of killing a "criminal"..As criticized by VP Robredo, what is the President trying to say whe he confesses that he has killed a criminal?. Did he catch him in the act of committing a crime? or did he become a policeman who executes people they catch in the act of committing a crime..it does encourage people to put the law into their own hands as Judge and executor. We are supposed to try criminals before we sentence them to death but according to the law of the land there is no more death penalty as it was abolished by Congress during the time of GMA..See how the P.I. appears now as a lawless country. Even during the time of Dictator FM he had a 24 hour rule..A criminal who commits a crime against tourists is tried within 24 hours and sentenced in the same number of hours. at least there was a semblance of a trial during in FM's time. Now there is immediate execution ... No more due process. What is the purpose of our constitution if the person who is supposed to implement it is the No. 1 violator? It is a mere scrap of paper!

Ano ba gusto ninyong pananalita na ilabas ng ating pangulo, ang sinasabe nyong disente? Ano resulta? Si Digong bastos, intimidator or whatever you call it but see what he is doing for our country. ACCEPT DEFEAT.

This man, Ted, only selects comments that are pro to his opinions and does not like to hear from the other sides. He says many things but never mentioned about the manufacturers of illegal drugs right within the country of his birth, the Philippines. If he loves his country of birth, he has to hear from all the readers.

While living deal with worldly circumstances in order to survive and maybe live a decent life. Simple and basic, beyond that is dealt with according to the luxury one can afford. I make P270/day like about 82% of the people in this part of the world. I could care less with the "drug peoples" predicaments. At least there is Duterte dealing with them because I can't. Don't have the time and money to deal with them. Maybe Mr Liguatan you can but not in "Frisco.

Killing drug lords and pushers because they are criminal are in my opinion is justified rather than they criminals kill innocent children and innocent victims. Extra judicial killings existed before the present administration of Duterte so he is not to be blame alone. The past administration of Ex pres. Aquino do not even bother to give a damm shit on those illegal drugs proliferating. Du30 is the crusader, who wanted to solve this demonic disease. Win or lose, only time can judge.

Someone said, "Filipino voters of Trump.. Now reality will come when Filipino voters of Trump realize that the new President -elect has in fact identified the R.P. as a potential source of terrorists considering that less than 5% of our population are Muslims.... My Reaction: What's so false about that? Trump has a duty to protect Americans... If you still consider yourself as a Filipino more than an American then you shouldn't live here at all. What is your point of looking at things the Filipino way vice the American way? Such hypocrites.. On the surface you want to show the world that the Philippines is terrorist free but the reality of it all is that all these kidnappings have been taking place, year in -year out... and majority of these crimes are perpetuated by Muslim radicals and the victims are mostly foreigners.. and you want to sugarcoat that fact? Do you think its that simple? How about the communist left who are rabidly against Americans as well? How about Duterte's latest actions against America, calling Obama a son of a whore? That's not anti-American? You fanatics are blinded by your biasedness. It's horrible.

Someone said, "Those who voted for Trump didn't understand that there is a wing in the GOP who believe that the USA belongs to Whites only." My reaction: You are so full of lies... Just because the KKK or racist groups have tactically openly expressed their resentment against a Black Leader like Obama by tactically siding with the Republicans, that doesn't mean the Republican Party is a party of racists..... Richard Spencer is not a member of the Republican Party... How would you know? Are you a member of the Party? He may be tactically riding on its bandwagon but that doesn't mean he is a member of the Party in as much Ben Carson and Dinesh D'Souza is. Most of all, the Republican doesn't embrace racism at all. On the other hand, The Democratic Party, If you will study History, is a group that created the KKK. Here's a reference, LINK

Re: White America..That is the goal of Richard Spencer a neo Nazi who copied Hitler's salute. The problem with this group is that they have a different reality. One example is California right now it is 50% White and 50% nonwhite.. These neo Nazis believe that they can change the trend of nonwhites becoming the majority as the nonwhites are going to voluntarily leave the USA so that they the whites) will be the only race left in the USA . There are bloggers in this forum who are ignorant of history. In 1882 the Republican controlled Congress passed the Chinese exclusion Act which was law until it was repealed in 1943.

Re: Popular votes -In California it was a 60% 30% election result. 60% of the voters in California voted for democrats only 30% of the vots went to the GOP nominee now the President elect. 2 U.S. Senators are Democrats. Most U.S. congressmen in Calif. are Democrats. There is no GOP who holds a statewide position. Governor Vice Governor and State Assembly are 2/3 Democrats. So even if Hillary lost the electoral votes she in fact won more votes tha the President -elect..I'm still happy I live in a state where the Democrats are in the majority

Re: Medicare & Social Security --Now that the GOP is in power there is a danger that the above-mentioned programs would be privatized.. Social Security was passed during the time of FDR ( Franklin Delano Roosevelt)because during the depression of the early 1930's many older Americans didn't have any money as there was no Social Secuirty then., Of course the GOP opposed its passage. Medicare started in 1965 also during democratic Presidency it was LBJ(Lyndon Baines Johnson)who also passed the Civil rights act, yes the civil rights act was also opposed by the GOP. This act also led to the increase of Filipinos coming to America many are aware that in the 1950's and early 60's our quota for immigration was 50 or 100 a year who can emigrate.
